Step 4: You must attend one New Mexico Real Estate Commission meeting, rule hearing, or disciplinary hearing for at least 3 hours. Attendance may be by live meeting/hearing or by live or recorded distance broadcast.

The state requires that you achieve a score of 75% or higher to pass. PSI will send an eligibility postcard which contains instructions on how to schedule the exam. New Mexico Qualifying Broker License Renewal

New Mexico qualifying broker licenses are good for 3 years. They must be renewed on or before the last day of licensee’s birth month. The renewal fee is $270.

For late renewals, you will be required to pay $ 810 which includes $270 renewal fee and $540 penalty. License can be renewed with a late fee up to one year. 

Does New Mexico Require Post-Licensing Education?  

New Mexico qualifying brokers who are renewing their licenses or filing for a late renewal must complete 36 hours of approved continuing education coursework.  

The required courses within the 36 hours include:

  • A 4-hour NMREC course to be completed annually (will need 12 hours of this course per renewal cycle) 
  • 4-hour Ethics course to be completed once during renewal perio.
  • Of the remaining 16 hours, no more than 10 hours may be earned toward the education requirements with training category courses. All 16 may be earned with education category courses. 
  • The NMREC core course requirement will apply to those licensees who have not completed the 8-hour mandatory course by December 31st, 2016.  
  • 8-hour Core Elective- to be completed during each 3-year renewal cycle. 
  • Qualifying Broker Refresher Course once during renewal cycl.
  • Attend one Commission meeting.
  • Once every renewal cycle must complete 12 hours of education in Property Management.

You can start by filling out the required Universal form. After which you can schedule to get your fingerprints taken at IDEMIA.

Evidence of completion of the fingerprinting process must include: 

  • A copy of the applicant’s completed Universal Form

How Do I Take the New Jersey Real Estate Licensing Exam?

The New Jersey Salesperson exam consists of 110 questions in total which is worth 110 points. You will be given 4 hours to complete the exam, and you must earn a score of 70% or higher to pass the exam. 
 
When taking the state examination, the applicant will be required to answer screening questions which is basically about their criminal histories dating within the 5 years preceding the application for licensure. You must sign a form on which you certify that your screening question answers are accurate and truthful. 
 
Immediately after completing your exam, you will receive a scoring document that states whether you passed or failed. If it is marked “Fail,” then you will see a breakdown of your score in the different areas of the exam. If you decide to retake the exam, use this as a guide for your studies. 

How Do I Submit My New Jersey Real Estate License Application?

After successful completion of the licensing exam, you can submit your Salesperson License Application. You will need to obtain supervision from a managing broker who will help you submit your application at Online Licensing Services Portal. You must give your managing broker your Applicant ID number which is found on your testing score card which indicates you passed the state exam successfully. Pearson VUE administers the Nevada broker licensing examination. You will need to visit www.pearsonvue.com/nv/realestate to make an online reservation for an examination. 
 
The exam is in two portions: 

  • The National portion (80 questions must be completed within 150 minutes) 
  • The State portion (50 questions must be completed within 90 minutes) 
     

Note: If you pass one portion of the exam and fail the other, you need to retake only the failed portion and it must be completed within a year.

You are required to apply for your broker license within 12 months of passing the exam.  
 
You will need Form549 to submit your application alongside some items which includes:

The simple answer is no, you cannot apply for you Nevada real estate license online. You must mail in your application along with submitting some required documents and a check to the Nevada Real Estate Division.

Nevada has contracted with PearsonVUE to administer the exam. The exams must be done in person and are given in 3 locations by appointment only.

How Do I Take the Nevada Real Estate Licensing Exam?

Pearson VUE administers the Nevada Salesperson licensing examination. You will need to visit www.pearsonvue.com/nv/realestate to make an online reservation for an examination. 
 
The exam is in two portions: 

  • The National portion (80 questions must be completed within 150 minutes) 
  • The State portion (40 questions must be completed within 90 minutes) 
     

Note: If you pass one portion of the exam and fail the other, you need to retake only the failed portion and it must be completed within a year.  

How Do I Submit My Nevada Real Estate License Application?

You are required to apply for your salesperson license within 12 months of passing the exam.  
 
You will need Form549 to submit your application alongside some items which includes: 

  • Proof of pre-license education.
