Team Leader

Joy Parker has over 14 years experience in the Real Estate Industry.  Her 10 years of experience in the Title Insurance and Escrow Sales industries, as well as 4 years in Real Estate leadership give her a unique perspective on the Real Estate process.

Her strong suit is helping real estate agents plan and grow their business. She’s an expert at helping her agents formulate ideas on how to provide the absolute best possible business model with an emphasis on Customer Service.  Joy loves working amongst some of the highest-quality professionals in the business at Keller Williams Realty in La Mesa, California. 

Her love for helping others achieve their dreams is what drove Joy into a career in real estate; she knows in an industry like this, there is no limit to what can be achieved. Her coaching skills and confident personality make her a favorite for her long-time clients and she lives by the adage, “Be Grateful and Make Everyday Count!” Joy believes that by working hard and by helping others achieve success, everyone becomes better and more successful in the process.

Joy was born in Oklahoma, raised in San Diego, and attended university at San Diego State. She loves spending time with her family of 2 children, and 3 grandchildren. Dan Hill is Broker of Record for Keller Williams Realty La Mesa. First licensed as a salesperson in 1996, Dan obtained his Broker's license in 2000.

Over the years Dan has worked with hundreds of agents and reviewed over 1,000 transaction files, giving him unique insight into the management and flow of real estate transactions. Dan's experience provides an in-depth understanding of agent-to-client and agent-to-agent relationships during residential sales. 

Dan serves on the Greater San Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) Risk Management, Professional Standards, and Professional Standards Executive Committees. He was a finalist for SDAR Broker of the Year in 2007 and a prior President's Award Winner. He holds certification for Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) and Risk Management Specialist (RMS).

Dan is a C.A.R. Certified Professional Standards Trainer and is certified by the California Bureau of Real Estate to teach Ethics.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Getting your real estate license is easy. You must select a reputable and approved correspondence course provider to ensure you are enrolling in the correct courses to apply for your salespersons real estate license. Second, it is imperative that you choose the best program suited to your learning style, meaning online versus classroom. You’ll need to complete three DRE approved college level courses passing the final exams with a 60% or better to receive a certificate of completion. Last, you will then need to pass the California state exam with a 70% or better to obtain your real estate license.
You can attend our 12-week live or live stream UNLIMITED Group Study Coaching classes as many times as you would like until you pass your California state exam. You may also attend as many 1-Day Live or live stream Prep courses as needed until you are confident in taking and passing the state examination.
KW Real Estate Schools will schedule 1 on 1 appointments with you for all our training locations to assist in the application completion and submission processes. With application processing times taking up to 8 weeks, we want to be sure your application is signed by the broker for faster processing and onboarding times as well as accurately completed before mailing to the department of real estate.
Taking the 1-day prep course teaches you studying techniques, how to find the right answers to their questions and much more than you learned in your pre-licensing coursework. It’s about strategy and technique over the content that you've studied for three months or more! We know you understand the content, now it's important to summarize as much of the complex concepts a possible that we know will be covered on the state test.
There’s a lot of different avenues available to you in the real estate industry. Some you may not even be aware of. Now is the time to attend one of our career night events where you can ask real world questions of seasoned veterans who share their knowledge and experience with you on what to expect.
