Learning formats vary by state, program and Training Location. Search first, then confirm the format available at the location you choose.

Brokerage-Based Hybrid Classes
Attend from a participating brokerage Training Location while connecting to live Agent Real Estate Schools instruction.
Live Instructor-Led Classes
Join scheduled real-time instruction for more structure, interaction and access to an instructor.
Online Real Estate Courses

WHAT IS AN ARES TRAINING LOCATION?
A local place to access ARES education.
Training Locations expand local access without turning every partner office into an Agent Real Estate Schools branch. The roles stay clear.
STUDY WHERE YOU WORK
Learn real estate inside a participating brokerage before you get licensed.
Some ARES Training Locations are brokerages. Eligible students can attend from the brokerage office and connect to applicable live ARES prelicensing instruction while experiencing the professional environment where real estate careers happen.
That creates two distinct experiences: ARES provides the education, while the brokerage provides the local professional environment.
Why students choose a brokerage Training Location
Experience brokerage culture before licensure
Build familiarity with the professional real estate environment
Connect course concepts to the setting where agents work
Join applicable live instruction from a local professional location
Explore potential career environments without confusing education with employment

FOR CALIFORNIA STUDENTS
A local class still has to fit California's licensing education requirements.
California salesperson applicants generally complete Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one approved elective before qualifying for the salesperson examination. Each DRE-approved statutory/pre-license course is at least 45 hours.
Location and course approval are different things.
A participating Training Location does not independently make a course DRE-approved. Students should enroll in the correct ARES education for the state where they plan to become licensed.
For California licensing details, use the California prelicensing hub.

DON'T SEE A LOCATION NEAR YOU?
Local access grows as new brokerages and organizations join the network.
If a brokerage, REALTOR® association or other real estate organization in your market wants to host future licensees, it can explore becoming an ARES Training Location.
For organizations
The Training Location model is designed for organizations that want to create local education access without independently building the complete school infrastructure.
ARES remains the education provider. The partner provides the local environment appropriate to the program.
