The Story Behind Agent Real Estate Schools
Agent Real Estate Schools began in September 2013 as KW Real Estate Schools, Inc., created to fill a gap in the industry—a step-by-step real estate licensing school that not only prepared students to pass the California real estate exam but also mentored them into building successful real estate careers.
At the time, as Team Leader of the #1 largest individual Keller Williams franchise in San Diego, I was constantly approached by aspiring real estate agents eager to enter the industry but unsure of how to navigate the real estate licensing process. They needed more than just a self-paced online real estate course—they needed live instruction, expert coaching, and a proven roadmap to success.
Initially, we partnered with an existing California real estate school, hoping it would provide the support our students needed. But time and again, we found ourselves answering the same questions—"What do I do next?" "How do I pass my real estate exam?" "What steps do I take after I get licensed?"
It became clear that a more comprehensive real estate education program was necessary—one that blended live classroom instruction, online learning, hands-on coaching, and career mentorship to fully prepare students for the real estate industry.
From Demand to Expansion
What started as a local real estate training program quickly evolved into a high-demand, full-service real estate school. Initially, we offered only the industry-standard online real estate license courses, but student demand for in-person training led us to develop a structured, instructor-led Group Study Program designed specifically for working professionals and career changers.
Our 12-week Group Study Program became the cornerstone of our real estate pre-licensing courses, providing:
- In Person & Live online instruction with expert real estate educators
- Comprehensive exam prep & study plan development to pass the California real estate exam
- One-on-one coaching to guide students through the licensing process
- Step-by-step support beyond licensing—helping students build their own real estate businesses
As student success stories multiplied, word-of-mouth referrals fueled our growth for four consecutive years, proving that our hands-on, mentorship-driven approach was the key to helping students succeed in real estate.
A Passion for Student Success
By December 2017, after a decade of leading the #1 Keller Williams real estate brokerage in San Diego (recognized by San Diego Business Journal in 2017), I made the decision to fully own and expand the real estate school, allowing me to focus entirely on our students' journeys.

Through coaching, encouragement, and a structured program, I’ve watched thousands of students successfully transition into licensed real estate professionals."
In 2021, we rebranded as Agent Real Estate Schools—a brand inclusive real estate school built to support students from all brokerages and Mega Teams. Unlike traditional real estate licensing programs, we go beyond the basics, offering:
- California real estate pre-licensing courses (In person, online & live online)
- Comprehensive real estate exam prep, study plan development, & group study buddy courses
- Broker live & online licensing programs
- Live tutoring, study guides, and step-by-step guidance
- Post-licensing career development, mentorship to launch a successful real estate businesses
Since welcoming our first student, we’ve now had the privilege of working with over 5,000 students—helping them get licensed, launch their careers, and build their own real estate businesses.
